The Source of Unity - is an artwork from the series which I have made to participate in my first group exhibition in Vienna. The topic of the exhibition was: Water as the Source of Life. The theme has inspired me to produce a series of artworks which were related to the topic.
In general, I love painting water and water reflections, I love the movement and the constant motion quality of it.
But in this piece of art, I wanted to put an accent on something different, not the water appearance, but rather on its function.
I have put an accent on quality of water as being a source: a source of beauty, life, and Unity.
Unity reflects the legend from the Jungle Book - I loved. When there is a draught period, animals gather around small pull to drink water, the rule implies no animal harm each other. When the times are tough, everyone understands that water is that what makes us continue to live, and all need it. That is how water is gaining this mean...
